This was without a doubt one of our favourite family holidays. Our host Mate was extremely helpful from our first enquiry & his wonderful hospitality & kindness were greatly appreciated- thank you for the meats, cheese, bread & wine on arrival. The villa was luxurious with a lovely pool area enjoyed by the whole family. Mate gave us great advice & recommendations for days out. We explored the Kastelas- our favourite were Novi & Stari for evening drinks & meals. Restaurant Intrada at Kastela Novi was a favourite. Split was beautiful & is certainly worth a visit as well as Trogir, Krka National Park(be sure to go early in the morning), Omis for River Rafting(check out Rafting Cetina) & the 3 island boat trip. Villa Lucija is in an ideal location to explore this beautiful part of Croatia. Thank you Mate!

Wspaniały dom, super warunki, bardzo dobr-e dobr-e wyposażony. Opiekun Mate, który nas powitał lokalnymi smakołykami zadbał o wszystko czego potrzeba. W każdej chwili można się zwrócić o pomoc do niego. Kastel to cudna lokalizacja. W 100 % polecamy.

We stayed for 10 days in Villa Lucija and it was one of our best vacations ever. Mate met us up on arrival with his wife and a very nice table of food and bread. We were 7 people living in the house and it was excellent with three floors for our young adult kids to have their separate apartments with full kitchen. The house is situated in walking distance from beaches, supermarket and restaurantes. The house is excellent with the nice pool and fruit trees. Our host Mate also put us in connection with a brilliant taxi service that helped us during the whole stay for both shorter and longer excursions. The taxi service was called Taxi Antonio, +385 95 514 7525, and Antonio was extremly helpful and supportive. We went to both Split and Trogir towns, as well as to a wonderful National Parc. The house is exactly as it looks on the pictures shows. We all have only good words to say about our wonderful vacation and none of us wanted to go home to Sweden after those 10 days in Croatia. Strongly recommeded. Mate was an excellent host, always making sure that our stay were perfect, and he was always available if needed. Many thanks for that Mate!!!

From start to finish Mate had been the perfect host in this luxury villa. He met us at the airport, helped sort out the car hire and we followed him to the villa to be met by a feast of Croatian cheese, meats, fruit and wines. It was the perfect start to our holiday.
The villa is perfect for two families as there are two large self contained apartments with separate functioning kitchens and bathrooms. The downstairs communal kitchens and lovely outdoor space means you can also spend time together.
The pool is great, deep enough to dive into ( no shallow end for children who can't swim tho) and Mate cleaned it every day.
The garden is lovely with Large BBQ and we were invited to pick the tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, herbs and peaches.
The villa is about 20 minutes drive from Split which has incredible restaurants ( trust Trip Advisor) and the amazing Dioclitian Palace, and 15 minutes from Trogir which is very beautiful and has great shops. Krka national park is definitely worth a visit.
The Croatian people were without exception friendly and welcoming whenever we went. A beautiful country, beautiful people and a beautiful villa. Thank you Mate!!

Our family of 9 stayed 14 days in Villa Lucija. We love the house and the garden. Mate made us feel welcome and was a perfect host!
We traveled around an saw places that tourists normaly do not visit, in addition to Split and naturally Trogir. But, do not forget the Kastels and the even the mountains above the house.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your welcome and allowing us to stay in your beautiful villa. We had a great holiday at Villa Lucija and you were a fantastic host for us! The Dalmatian coast is beautiful and we were able to visit Split, Trogir, Krka waterfalls and Hvar which were all beautiful and we had a great time. Your villa is in a great location, really handy for getting around and lovely and peaceful for relaxing. Thanks so much, the group from Glasgow!
